For Pete, the journey into DJing started at just 10 years old after watching Michael Jackson's Moonwalker. Fascinated by the way multiple songs blended together, he grabbed some cassette tapes and tried recreating the mix himself. Little did he know, that childhood experiment would spark a lifelong passion.

Determined to take things further, Pete saved up for his first turntables and mixer, catching trams into Melbourne city to visit record stores and build his vinyl collection. Hours of listening, practising and perfecting his mixing eventually led to his first big break. At just 16, he won his first DJ competition at Moorabbin Town Hall, earning the opportunity to open an underage dance party in the mid-90s.

His passion soon took him into Melbourne's nightlife scene, playing at venues including Viper Room, Bennigan's, Chasers, Frost Bites and QBH. Inspired by international DJs such as Roger Sanchez, Erick Morillo, Paul van Dyk and Tiësto, Pete became obsessed with the art of mixing and, above all, the power of great song selection.

After taking a well-deserved break to focus on family and becoming a proud dad to two beautiful girls, Pete eventually returned to the industry with a fresh direction. Today, DJ Repete specialises in weddings and private celebrations, combining extensive experience with professional sound, impressive lighting and a genuine passion for entertaining.

Pete believes a great DJ should mix like a magician. Seamlessly blending tracks before surprising the dancefloor with a song nobody saw coming. For him, there's nothing better than hearing a crowd erupt when that perfect track drops.

But great events start long before the music begins. Pete prides himself on building genuine relationships with clients, understanding their vision and making sure the right DJ brings that vision to life.
